AI should enhance estate agents, not replace them.
There's a lot of noise about AI replacing people. I don't think that framing is helpful, and in property, I don't think it's true.
When you've actually built products for real users, you realise how hard it is to make something work properly in the real world. Fully replacing someone's job is an unrealistic target. That's not what good product teams focus on.
The fundamentals don't change with AI: · Understand the user · Respect how they work · Remove friction · Make them better at what they already do well
The best estate agents are brilliant with people. They build trust, know their patch and close deals. Logging notes, chasing follow ups and qualifying enquiries isn't where their real value sits.
So our view is simple. AI should sit in that gap. It should enhance and enable, not replace.
Remove the admin friction and speed to lead improves. Responses become consistent. Qualification gets tighter. Data gets cleaner. And estate agents get more time to focus on relationships.
We're not rewriting the property industry. We're building around what already works.
